I agree, the best way to sell a Slot Processor is intact. Everything said is correct about the results. The chip itself would likely pay as a NoPin because you will probably not get the pins out intact, and it will have a metal cap.
Save the time and trouble and earn the most by leaving them as is (of course you must remove it from the plastic case and heatsink, but I assume you know that.)
