Can someone please explain to me how to tell the difference between peripheral and midgrade? Also what about all of the smaller misc boards out of computers and electronics?

A mid grade board is green on both sides and contains mostly capacitors, resistors, and transformers and no population of IC chips. Peripheral grade boards do contain some transformers, resistors, or capacitors, but these are usually on one section of the board, while you have the presence of some IC chips and maybe a single flat pack chip.
