We all know there is no market for the magnets from hard drives, however I have accumulated about 70 pounds of them, so yesterday I divided them up into three sizes, small, medium and large. Took them to the local flea market and set up a table, marked the small .25, medium .50 and the large $1.00. I came home with an extra $35.00, and lottsa folks picked up my cards. Seems to be a great interest in these magnets in ordinary people.

That's not a bad way to do it. Selling them as a curiosity type of thing. That's a great idea, especially if you are already there for other reasons.

I have managed to sell a small bulk lot via eBay (120pieces fetched 55.00) but it sat out there a couple weeks before it sold. After fees and shipping I cleared about 40.00. I hear this isn't typical, but figured I would share.
