Most local scrap yards buy them. As for shipping... you'd never make money. Even high yield copper ones from microwave ovens go for less then 30¢ -50¢… lost cause.
Average tf pricing is under 20¢

Depending on the type of transformer, it may be worth the time for you to break them open and recover the copper wire. Moose Scrapper and Jack the Scrapper have very good videos on scrapping transformers and electric motors. Look up their channels on YouTube and watch their videos and see how they do it and decide if it will be profitable for you to break transformers down.

If they buy copper transformers as steel you nees to find a new yars ASAP.
