Over the coming days and weeks I'm going to start posting pictures and comments from random things you may not have considered taking apart.
Probably beginning tomorrow and this weekend. Find all sorts of curious stuff to consider.
These won't be computers but clocks video games watches and other things that plug in or turn on.

As usual try to Sell it whole first . Working or broken many times you can find a buyer who wants nostalgia or parts.
After that we can try to find better ways to recycle and maximize everyone's profits.

Lets start with a trip in time.
First we have the 2600 carts from Atari
Followed by the 5200
The 2600 is a single ic on a gold wire non-flashed board. with gold fingers . Need to remove the soldered shield
The 5200.is 1-2 ics on a gold trace board with full silver flashing. Nice piece and were getting to telco grade here almost.they have a double sided shield (not shown) the pops off easily.

Sega days.
Here we have the Genesis carts in two designs.
The shortie and the tall boy.
Both types may or may not have batteries that can be easily Removed with tin snips.
Couple of ics on a Gold trace board with no flashing and gold fingers.

Second here is the 32x.
Pure telco.
Ics. Gold wire board. Full gold flashing on the front and full nickel? Flashing on the back (it's not silver). may be a nickel tin alloy.
Gold fingers. No wonder these cost so much.

Genesis/megadrive carts run gold finger to telco rate. Variable
32x they bought as gold ram.

Inside an Odyssey 2.
On the left is the more common silveer trace board with silver fingers and a soldered metal case. On the right the rare silver flashed etched board. Has no shield. And silver fingers.

This one surprised me. Nice board. Probably telco. Not much weight but totally covered with cmc/mcc units.

The ti-8x and -9x calculators
This is representative of the full line with the exception of the colour screen units, and the "n" units. what's inside... a heavy flashed board (telco rate for all be "e" series, they are nickel flashed and go peripheral)
A green cpu board that falls into peripheral grade.
A large support (not shown to save bs' bandwidth) that is al, al-ag, or al12 (al+mg) behind the screen.
The large board in the 8x and 9x "n" series except the 80n+ are fully integrated and are cell class.
The 80x and 90x t series all have a SOCKETED gold cap chip but even busted to hell fetch more on eBay for parts.
In pieces expect over $15. Used working run $150+
T series are educational use only calcs that were purchased by professors/teachers as a kit wit 20-50 n units. A single t unit has a broad spectrum transmitter/receiver that should be sent to a jewelry refiner if dead. Has a large amount of rhodium and is outside of BS' purchase range.
$50-$75 per board is common at today's rates for commodities pricing.

Retro!
Here's a nice "hand held" (really?) Unit.
Inside we got...
Two partially gold flashed boards. One with numerous silver button switches and the other a controller and cpu. Both should get peripheral
The rest. A piece of silver plated brass
Some wire.
A silver flashed cardboard back reflector for the screen.
The screen
And some plastic and steel scrap.
