I have a question about computer motherboards. Would it make sense to remove the jacks from the board for packaging reasons? Also if they are valuable then could you just send them along with the boards? Or is the best course of action to leave things as is?

The way i so it is snap the boards in half and use a bit of Scotch tape to hold the halves together.

Removing the jacks could bring it down to peripheral grade easily... or worse.
