Today I picked up a small box of boards all green boards from a computer.
As I have started to sort though it I am finding many boards have been stripped. Like a big scraper has clean them. Are they worth anything or did I get my first lesson in looking more carefully.

More than likely the boards will be devalued if they have been processed for their values. You are welcome to reply with a picture or two and I will be able tell you for certain.

The benefit of buying e-scrap is that we know the value of any given type of standard board or cpu, unlike most other commodities such as gold or silver where the purity and the value are always in question. A board is a board is a board so we say.

Unfortunately once the board has been processed, even partially, it brings into doubt that accepted value and makes it difficult of not impossible to accurately assess a new one.

Will it was not a wasted mistake. I will know next time to check better. At least this time there was not enough to hurt.
