And wouldn't you know it? Two of my large heavy wirewrap pinboards have a mix of silver colored and gold plated pins. They are grouped in sections according to color, but the sections are intermingled. What kind classification do you suppose that is? Gold flashed on the socket/backplane side.

My guess would be the pin board category as long as gold makes up half or more the pin count over silver.

But that still leaves all the wire to remove. I'll post a photo when I remember to take one.
