What is considered whole laptop and partial laptop?
Im guessing partial laptops are missing exg: ram, hard drive and / or cpu?
Does the whole laptop have to have the battery?

My assumption has always been it has memory, video card, drive, and screen. Battery is not part of the deal. I’ve always stripped them so I never asked.

I've only stripped maybe a half a dozen down. They take me a lot longer and it seems there isn’t as much board weight. Correct me if I am wrong here......if it has anything other than a green MB it goes as a colored MB, instead of as a large socket.
Not sure with the new grading they may not even be large socket anymore.

The reason I asked is there is an auction with two pretty good size lots (about 40 or 50 laptops per lot) I thought about bidding on.

Laptop motherboards have their own class now
