I recently bought about 21lbs of useable 16gb/8gb/4gb shielded server modules. Included in the lot was about 10lbs of low stuff - so low that I wouldn't even bother trying to sell it. I had some extra time to kill so I pulled off all of the shields. Obviously, it's near impossible to get 100% of the thermal paste and adhesives off but I did my best to get probably 90% off. Is it alright if I still throw this into the regular gold finger ram pile?

Cool! Yes, there is nothing else besides the ram module itself. No heat sinks or metal of any kind.
