Printer gold plated plastic ribbons, Ink cartridge gold plated/foil plastic ribbons, does Boardsort have a class for them? Are those similar to the low voltage ribbons?

Gold plated ribbon cables (laminated flat wire) is not something boardsort sorts out from standard wire. Black sleeve or not.

Like pure silver wire and clean tin wire they ARE worth more than the copper wire rate. The big problem with laminated wiring is there are few buyers and most of them want at least 10lbs. That’s like a lifetime if printer cartridges from a family of 4.
You can cut the gold connectors of flat wire and add them to clean gold fingers. You can also go through the trouble of cutting out the contacts from cartridge connectors if you want and put them in fingers as well. I have an old HP that I’ve used for years for printing envelopes. Since I know the exact layout I made two custom punch outs of sharpened steel and a foam block. Line up the ribbon. Place the punch out and Wack it with a hammer. Instant perfect circles.
