The same place they would be as an 86. An 80487 is a 486.
An 80859 is an 8086 class if it has a gold cap, and pentium/Mac ceramic if it doesn’t.
An 8087, b, c, n, or y (capped) is 8086. A d, e, x series (plastic no cap nickel-tin pins) is an IC.
286 exists in multiple packages as a ceramic. The quad with pins and a gold cap is 486. The long rectangular ceramic with gold cap and gold pins, and gold line, is an 8086. Plastic rectangle with gold pins Email Chris a photo.
Generally a photo helps us here. Even CPUs everyone knows (like plastic 486) exist in variations that won’t be what the list says. It’s always best to post top and bottom pics of anything pre-pentium just to be sure as these were made well beyond the ceramic days (even now).
