I am getting ready to ship a bunch of different E scrap. I have no way to accurately weigh this stuff. Do I need to invest in a scale, I will not likely send any E scrap after this initial shipment.
Thanks for your previous help with all my questions.

Well I have two suggestions. If you are boxing classes separately, or are generally a night owl, you can package and tape your boxes at the post office if you’re by a large postal regional location. Use their scale and automate Postage system. And fill out the form as you go (but you’ll need a wireless printer).

If you go to a shipping company, like Fedex office, you can do the entire process on location, including printing forms.

Postal scales (high procession) aren’t expensive at the entry level. A 20lb, 55lb, or 70lb scale can be found at
Most large big box grocery or service stores like Albertson’s or WalMart or Meijer for under $30. Often under $20.

Finally If everything is complete sorted you can call or email Chris and work out a non-weighed order approval. Basically you’d let him know up front. Then fill out a quote form filling each included class with 1 lb. and they can weigh it on reception and adjust the quote.
