I doubt it’s anything major. The scanners use the same optical reading premise as a bar code scanner or old OCR units. A bunch of glass. A photo processor. A light or laser diode. A peripheral or low telco board. A bunch of glass. ;)

I can come up with some stuff lol.
In the same auction there is some hemoglobin analyzers i thought about bidding on, but I am a little leery of anything medical that has to do with blood or body fluid.
