Does BoardSort accept the gold fingers off of ribbon wire (as commonly found on computer and television cables) as “Gold Fingers” or should they be handled differently?

I think there was recently a post thar indicated not to add ribbon wire ends to your gold fingers.

I was thinking that I remember a post about ribbon ends classified as connector ends, but haven't been able to find it.

Ribbon wire ends/contacts go as high peripheral.
Place them in a small clean sealed plastic bottle like a pill bottle.
