I was wondering what is your guys opinion on is it worth to dismantle a powersupply or sell it whole local

Breaking them down completely I usually get around 75¢-$1.50 lately for each.

depends how much time you have and what its worth to you.

You will definitely make more tearing them apart and separating the metals...BUT... If get $1.50 for a whole power supply (and all you have to do is throw it in bin) as opposed to $2.25 if you tear it apart (and spend 10 minutes doing so) then you only make $0.75 for your extra time and effort. So ultimately you have to decide if your time is worth it.

3lbs at cbm3 @17¢ is 51¢.
So yes you're looking at triple your money but at a very low rate of pay. Takes me about 10 minutes as well, full unit to bare board so..
.75 per 10 minutes is $4.50 per hour.

that would be funny if i actually got in the ball park on the hourly rate... i just used random-ish numbers :p
