It tells me tye image is to large,but I rest my pixel resolution to the smallest setting

Image files must be 4ish megabytes or less. Use the highest pixel setting (upto 15mp) without zoom and then crop the image to the board size.

On android and apple devices the compression after cropping is changed from standard lz77 jpeg/png files to jpg2k for smaller sizes.
