I've got lithium coin cell batteries that keep adding up for some of the motherboards I've scrapped in the past. I was wondering is there anywhere that can actually recycle them for a profit? Is it a matter of just getting up enough material for a shipment? Or is it just not feasible at all?

Just about any large electronics shop or hardware store.

lost are you talking about buying new ones? I don't know any stores that will recycle batteries for profit. I have seen some that have bins you can chuck them in for free though...

Sorry I missed the sell aspect of the question.
Dry cell lithium batteries if you can find a buyer is worth around 10-20c per pound at the moment
But finding a buyer is difficult and many yards have stopped taking all batteries outright.
Most hardware and electronics shops have a battery recycling bin.
That's the safest way to deal with them if you tape them up.
Some steel yards will buy them as shred but make sure you watch what they do with them. If they just toss them in a mixed steel dumpster best not to bring a second batch. That could cost someone's livelihood or life down the line somewhere.

Does Board Sort not take lithium button batteries? Or maybe I should be asking what type of lithium batteries do they accept?
