EDO memory
This stuff is so rare nothing on the boardsort list compares
I've brought up EDO ram before.
99% of EDO ram is silver finger,
Yet thanks to an essay that is extensively referenced; that was posted on http://www.scribd.Com titled the future of EDO (subscription required) we now have a more realistic estimate of EDO in the wild. 140-150 million EDO compatible boards.
Non working EDO sticks are since mid October averaging $10 per stick
Verified working (having some level of guarantee) are past $100 on the high end.

Intel 4000 series CPUs
As long as they have ALL pins completely and complete length sell them DOA (parts/repair) on eBay!
This set of ICs can net you $50-100 easily per chip!
That said even one damaged pin any your under $5 so if it's missing pins you're better with scrapping it. Nothing out there beyond collectors uses a dip 4XXX CPU. And as far as damaged goes it's like coins, anything under mint is only filler because you (the collector) can't afford something ms55+

Cyrix Cy6X86 CPUs
These, in general terms, don't exist and you will NEVER see an authenticated one for under a few hundred dollars.
Absolutely off the assembly line mint they run a few thousand and even damaged (missing a few pins or a few scratches on the gold cap) you can still easily pass the $100 mark.
Less than 2000 were made and around 100 made it out to the public before the line was cancelled and recalled.
A runaway error (infinity loop) in the instruction set can lead to an explosive failure do to heat.
is specific to one single chip. The cyCx86a P120G
Cyrix in general are low end chips.

Slocket boards
These boards were intended to let you install a socket socket CPU in a slot processor slot.
Later designs were to go from slot to the later sockets.
The range of these boards is a few dollars to well past $50 for working samples of socket to slot.
Slot to socket boards start in the low 100s!
In general order of value low to high
486/am486 to slot 1
Pentium P525-P5-66 to slot 1
486/am486 to slot a
P5 to slot a
Slot A to socket A
Slot A to socket 7XX
Slot A or Slot 1 to socket 3XX
Slot A to slot 1 (an adaptor for the board)
Slot 1 to slot A (an adaptor for the board)
These boards were in production for less than a year for AMD and less than 2 years for Intel.
Anything outside of the above list is a rare one-off (not literally one but very few)! Many companies fudged around with such socket to slot and slot to socket boards; but the rest of them are so rare you'll get a literal fortune for them; in any state of condition! And you're well beyond the general eBay market with those. Try specialist auction companies. Heritage is my favourite; even if they don't want it they will gladly point you to a reputable company, including competitors!

Move it quick

Ebay!
The fastest turnaround bar none
Max back and the like. Many used cell phone buyers actually like ancient tech. Use the not listed or contact us link and ask.
The only bad question is the one never asked!

Move it for more; eventuality!
Facebook
Ohkay I honestly have no clue here. A very close friend swears by it. And really does make a decent income off facebook sales. But I don't use facebook so I'm not of any use in helping here
Craigslist
It takes forever but someone will eventually buy your... anything!
I sold crap, my dog's crap, covered in mold, in a sealed ziplock bag, for $4 to a school teacher. (I froze it eventually).
eBay fixed price listings. Fixed price listings can last up to 30 days. You get 2 free relistings as part of the deal.
My suggestion here. Set the sale price at the REASONABLE price you want, and the buy it now, or BIN, at the value you'd be willing to accept if all else failed on you.

The most money some day down the road!
Beyond the DIY of eBay there's only one auction company I trust! Heritage auctions
3500 Maple Ave., 17th Floor
Dallas, Texas 75219-3941
877-HERITAGE (437-4824)
(214) 528-3500
Fax: (214) 409-1425

Be it my 1787 gold dollar coin, a copy of BatMan #2 or my Anniversary Mac.
No company has more cross-board experience
And as stated above even if they won't auction it they will point you in the right direction!

All else has failed now what?!?

Make sure it doesn't end up in a landfill
Honestly, if you toss the display/tube of a tube TVs/monitor in a dumpster somewhere you're an arse and I've nothing further to say to you!
If that makes you mad: good; your an arse and I've got nothing more to say to you!

I'm lucky enough to live on the outskirts of one of the most industrialised regions in the country; Chicago/north-west Indiana.
Even paper and glass can break even once per month on fuel and the uHaul trailer!

For our more rural (even the bufu nowhere users) there are options!
I've lived in 49 states and 7 countries and never " tossed out" anything beyond organic matter. Since I was 15 years old!
Call every township in the phone book (or use yellowpages dot com) and ask if they have a drop off for this or that.

If it's in any sort of recognisable state (you didn't strip it to nothing) try freecycle! Even if your 20, 50, 100 miles from the nearest metropolis you'd be surprised and pleased how far people will drive for something they want!

I drove 460 miles for an iMac cube then flipped it after repairs for $600! @8 mpg $400 dollars well earned!

Bottom line; if boardsort don't want it any your local yard won't pay for it, and by some chance you can't sell it?!?!!!
Post it on the closest freecycle system, stick it in your garage or a closet, and wait for someone like me to drive out to get it.

Whatever you do don't toss it !!!!!!!!!!!!

It's been more that/5 years since I put something in the municipal garbage pickup that wouldn't decompose in under 10 years. ...I'm no biologist to tell you why but I understand of organics rice, banana skins (peels) and chocolate take the longest. When it comes to scrap and scrapping there is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON for anything to not be recycled.

Plastics get transferred down to the next non FDA level, or non food, and in rural states many recycling companies will sell it off to be turned into fuel ! Be it kerosene, desel, or generic heating fuel
Paper can always be downsorted to news print at the very end (or bleached for toilet paper aka butt wipe).
Glasses, when all other options are long past, gets used in asphalt/paving!
Over 76% of America's past consumer life glass is actually in our interstate highway system as roads.
The vast majority of our post consumer grade glass including the leaded crt glass mentioned above winds up as stable, safe, glass beads in roadway projects.

Anything that can be man made can be unmade!
And everything can fall into at the very least one of the three classes of reduce reuse recycle!

If no one will take it, my biggest pain is old printers, try taking it to GoodWill. They have a partnership with dell for electronics recycling.
