Taking a part about 300 or 400 hundred DVD, CD and floppy drive's. What do you do with these? Here I don't think there is copper to go as a low grade copper content.

There is a very small amount of copper in there. I don't think it would count as copper bearing. If you don't dismantle it it could probably count as dirty Aluminium.

If you are scrapping a large quantity of CD/DVD drives, just open them up and take the controller boards out. Close up the unit and toss the board into your CD/DVD board pile to sell here and the rest of the unit into your shred metal pile.

Boardsort buys the boards from the floppy drives as Peripheral only if you keep the gold plated pins. I sell my cd/dvd boxes to my local scrap yard after removing the boards that I will be sending to Boardsort.
