Boardsort.com

Have a guy looking for laptop batteries and he asked me if the place I take scrap to (boardsort) will sell anything. I let him know that I didn't think so, as I imagine there's any number of liabilities preventing this.

Anyways the question is, does boardsort ever sell to individuals?

Hard to say with this item... it would be a hazmat item to ship, and IF they sell, it probably wouldn't be for anything less then the can already get for them... they 'might' entertain the offer, but you would have to get a hold of Chris.

There may be some hidden liability issues or 'hazardous items' issues that may not allow them... i am not really sure. I know some places cannot sell to certain entities unless they can prove their compliances/certifications with industry standards.
