Hi Boardsort,

I am sorting motherboards and need clarification. The ones with the SOCKET 462 are these the older large socket boards? What I refer to as a P3 motherboard. It looks older but when I google the socket size the specs say newer.

Can you assist please!

Thank you! MB

Socket 462 are Large Socket motherboards all day long. According to our motherboard grading guidelines:

"...A standard Large Socket Motherboard will have a measurement of 1 and 3/4 inches or more from pinhole to pinhole."

So you can safely sort that into your Large Socket Motherboard collection.
