Hi...i am a new user here.As per my knowledge leave them in the case! They are mainly going after the contacts. That and I'd be VERY VERY careful of the bare ones now! The entire outer case is negative! Very easy to short and cause a thermal runaway now!

HF is potentially deadly, and if it was venting, it would be smoking or shooting flames.
