I bumped into an ad on Craigslist. They advertise CR-Rom drives (picture shows HDDs) sold in gaylord boxes. I tracked the phone number to a local scrap yard in Taunton, MA. Not too far from where I am, I may take a drive by and check it out, if I can get down there.

Does anyone know of any escrap yards in New Jersey or Eastern Pennsylvania? Some stuff i will send to boardsort. I have some stuff that would be too heavy, and cost a small fortune to ship. I have a lot of hard drives and mother boards. The CPU's and memory i will do through Boardsort.
