I have already taken apart some laptops. I took the screens off as one unit. Will board sort buy the screens? What about the key boards?

boardsort is not buying keyboards at all. As for the laptop screens, the only thing boardsort wants out of those are the peripheral grade boards you will find behind the display panel. Those contain some IC chips and gold plating.

The problem with the peripheral grade boards that we get out of laptop screens are fairly light in weight, possibly a couple or three ounces from a 15" unit.

If those screens are in good shape and fairly modern, you can likely sell them on ebay or craigslist, as long as you have the model # they came from. I've been trading my good ones out to a local computer shop for what ever goodies he may have for me.

I've been saving the obsolete a dead/broken ones, hoping to find someone to buy them whole...with no luck yet.

Thank you for your swift reply. I think these screens are too old to trade and it sound like you need 100's of them to get any board value.
