Old mobo riser. As it is you’ll probably just slide into telco. I wouldn’t remove anything.

Lost, when you identified this board it reminded me of a thought about when boards are posted if the person posting the said board could post what it came out of (if known) it may help the rest of us in the identification process. We may be able to group the telco boards and others by the equipment they come out of a little bit better. Also it may help when we all are looking at electronics that we may be paying money on we would have a better idea of scrap value of item. We all judge value by our experience of what we have scrapped but by identifying items we increase our knowledge which would help newbies and old scrappers. After all with all the scrappers on this forum that is a lot more items covered than one person's time since different type of boards pop up all the time.

Ohkay I’m heading off the branches here; but with a Tandy ic front and centre I’m guessing; if not a Tandy outright...
Telegames/telestar, Vox, a low end Texas Instruments...
hold on a moment I’ll see if I can grab a part number off the board in a photo.

Nope, I have over 200 not quite identical boards come up under that number.
My first guess is a Tandy ibm compatible from the mid 80s
A 1000 or 1200
If not it’s almost surely a ti80 or ti82.
There’s too many isa ports for a VOX system. Not enough for zenith. If the op has any idea I’d love to know if I’m close.

This is the stuff I actually focus on. Mid 70s to Mid 80s, and not quite IBM compatible stuff.
Many of these have basic loaders in the “bios” rom and it’s common to pop them and swap them between similar computers with various sometimes funny, sometimes disastrous results.

For anyone interested VOX isn’t a (the) company, it’s a methodology. Vox stampeded or painted on a shell stands for ‘variable options X’. They’re hack boxes with modified everything. Never pay for one you can’t test extensively. If it works at all they have a tendency to burst into flames.
