1. I noticed in the new price list it says "IC chips, no Dallas switches". What are Dallas switches?
2. Can I cut the IC chips off of the boards that are lower than peripheral grade?

Dallas boxes are clocks with batteries. They MUST be removed from all boards; and boardsort doesn’t buy them.

Yes. Though you turn that board into low grade or worse.

its a good idea to do that if you have a local buyer for the remains for the low grade - of course for low grade and mid grade. Probably not worth shipping it...
