 Post subject: Telecom boards to grade

I’m new to this. I need some help grading these birds please.

Thanks. I’m not 100% sure what the transformers are but told if I pop em off it would be low tele. What do the transformers look like. I think I have them identified but not sure . Thanks again.

I’m not sure who said that to you. If it was boardsort they will honour their word but those two boards
Lower one is way to low in population to be low telco. The edge connector for the backplane is the only thing getting it into the peripheral category. There virtually no IC population. There’s a ton of capacitors and resistors.
The upper one with the ICs in the middle, without the transformers; I could see it just making low telco. The other one has no chance.

Thanks so much for your help. It was Boardsort that told me that. But maybe I misunderstood. I might as well pop em and see what they say. Thanks again for the help. I’m sure I’ll need more soon.
