I have 18 grams of clean clipped pins and i was curious as to what this kind of gold goes for since it is plated. I have much more that arent clipped and are like 50% gold visible and some other metal the other 50%.

they all have been removed from motherboards or network cards

they may not buy these as the actual gold content varies dramatically... in nearly all situations of gold plated pins like these, the yield is very low.

the really thick gold plating will have a dull matte appearance to it and ususally only shows up in specialty applications, early electronics, and early cpu's.

I brought them a couple pounds of pins (similar to yours) a couple years ago and they declined to buy them from me... things may have changed, that was my experience though.
