The components are gone but the gold fingers are still there.

You will probably get peripheral grade at best for those since all the components got removed. Trimming the fingers will downgrade the boards to mid grade. In this case, you may make more money trimming fingers and sending those in separately.

O.k thanks, they are actually boards that have not been assembled, they are not stripped its just that they have yet to be assembled, some got copper etching some got gold and some got silver solder. I got a mixture of about 6-10 thousand pounds of unpopulated boards I'm waiting for a quote. Hopefully I can get the best value I possibly could. HAPPY SCRAPPING!

those would be very easy to process yourself. the gold is going to be almost all in the fingers. you would probably be best off doing as kgryczan says... take a few of them, trim off the fingers and weigh the results. use the numbers you get to determain what direction you should take. :)
