I am new to this and yet to send in a load because I need to understand proper board classification. Here are a few pics of some boards and my guess is that they are mid grade but hoping that I am wrong. Any transformers and other heat sinks, copper or easy to remove IC chips have been removed since I figured that those are worth more at local scrap yard. I would sell the IC here when i get enough. On the board with the LED screen (or is it a different type of screen) does it have to be removed first? Will it change the value/grade of that board?

Can any of the experts here tell me if I am doing this correctly? Would you do anything different?

Great forum here, learning a lot!

I think you are doing everything right. Board 1 and 2 are mid grade if green on both sides. You can still remove the ic chips with a small flat head screw driver to sell to boardsort. Just be gentle otherwise you could brake the ic chip. The other board I would say is peripheral only if you remove the LED screen
