I've got a box of the boards from an instrument breakdown. I'd like to send them in for recycling, but I really don't know if the value is going to be higher than the shipping.

One is about 2x3" and the other is about 5"x2". No gold connectors, just a basic board.

Can anyone tell me the grade or expected value per pound if I was to send them in?

Thank you.

With the bracket (and plastic) on it’s mid grade and not worth shipping.
With the bracket and plastic removed it should clear peripheral.
look at this for current payout rates.

Oh, I will be removing all plastic of course. No need in making the shipping worse.

I've never sent anything in. How does the whole process work in terms of actual valuation? Is it post processing based on a materials breakdown or?

Sorry for the noob questions.

Board classes are fairly set in stone.
You can click on the sell material link up top, fill out your material weights, and then submit the claim. You print out and include that notice in your shipment. Then just ship your order in. Generally it's best to also email chris at this point with the order number and tracking number as well. It lets the staff keep track of inbound orders.

once they receive them and verify the sorted class and weights, they will either send you your PayPal, or mail out your cheque. Payments are made the following Thursday from the date they receive the order.

Hopefully you'll be sending more than just this. I don't believe you're going to recover the shipping rates on this board alone.
