You are spot on mls26cwru. Those boards are Peripheral Grade, and those squares are indeed flashed. Flashing is more of a painting than it is a plating.
The thin green/gold strips out of LCD screens are a perfect example. Upon initial sight you would think they are high dollar pieces when in reality they are not.
But still, $1.25/lb for trash ain't too shabby. I see people every day who work really hard to gather material that pays a fraction of that. (aluminum can collectors?)
