Greetings. I have a motherboard with an embedded IBM PowerPC 601 processor on it (PPC601FD-080-2). I've never seen a motherboard w/a CPU embedded on it so I'm not sure how to classify it. I almost wonder if I should've kept it as a full computer.

Did some research and the 601 is the first PowerPC CPU. There was also a slot processor version. I might just put it to the side for now, though I have no use for it.

Motherboards with soldered CPU chips are considered small socket motherboards.
