I have a bunch of these IC chips that appear to have gold-colored legs. They are from a wifi mouse board.

Are they straight IC grade, or something more exotic and exciting?

Lots of debate. Lots of postings too.
Think the general consensus is green fiber no metal. For Most mouse optical ics.
