I understand that Boardsort.com purchases IDE and SATA hard drive boards.

My question is: Do boards from SCSI-type hard drives qualify to be mixed with the IDE and SATA boards and be sold for the same price?

I just have a handful of these boards and don't know how to classify them. I don't want to "spoil" an entire shipment by mixing them up.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Regards,

exitometro

Hard drive boards are just that. Scsi and sas boards from hdd units are just fine to be mixed in..

Fwiw: The /only/ hdd controller exception I've found is pc/xt units (Boardsort classed them as cd/dvd when i sent them in).

Good rule of thumb.
If it's a 3.5 in drive or smaller expect hdd rate. 5.25 drives go for cd/dvd OR finger card for ones with two or more slot connector fingers.

And 1.2 inch drive boards are cell board class.
:)
