Not your typical backplane. Few extra things on there. From a hard drive casing on a p4 tower. 90 more of these towers to take apart. So. Backplane or peripheral?

If there's a port on both sides and the pins in the sockets are gold then probably. (3rd pic looks likely)
If the port is only on one side and/or the pins are not gold plated it's peripheral.

At the very least you nees two gold pin sockets to be backplane but I'm not sure where the actual line is.

The pics are front and back of two boards. All the main ports are gold. The one with small white ports are not gold.
