Chris takes them in mixed wire. As long as they're not populated. (No ics or cmcs)
the middle one i cut the quads off for pm scrap (into the acid bucket they go!) And dump the rest in my flat wire.
And the bottom... i get about $1.90-$3 per pound. But I'm bringing 10-20lbs per month and have arrangements with my yards to deal with my /unique/ stuff.
You could always try a pawn shop or jewelry store that buys gold. Coin/stamp shops will buy them too. Most will give you funny looks but if you keep trying eventually you'll find someone.
Oh... cutting the fingers off, is something most people miss. And actually the most common question I do get about it is there more gold in it (topic title too). I'm fairly sure it's probably not mentioned because there's a can of worms in what is/is not worth money what grade a seller wants etc. A headache that recyclers dont want to deal with. The ends are worth money if they're gold. But joe public has issues telling gold from copper from brass from... And yes the flats have those tips as well... though not commonly. The whole 'i sent gold' no you sent copper ... No i sent gold lier. Etc.
