Self sustaining redundant access control module.
They can go peripheral or finger card depending on the transformer weights.

Remove them you definitely get finger card.
Remove the fingers you get midgrade.

4 port 8 connections at dual band for 16 lines of simultaneous i/o streams.
If it works they run $25-$50

The transformers allow enough time for handshake termination and clean hand over in case if catastrophic failure.
Office telephonic use. High access low speed servers. Automation. Etc.
