CD rom/disk drives are taken as scrap shred steel if they do not have the board on them... if you want to make the most money, disassemble them and sort the metals and take them to your local scrap yard.

If you live close enough to boardsort, you can bring the drives with the boards and make money. If you are shipping things in, it is probably going to be cheaper to just send the boards... shipping the extra weight of the drives is going to cost you more in shipping than what you will get from boardsort.

The floppy board is peripheral. 99% f floppy disk boards go in that class.
The vga card is finger card

I have a breakdown in my what's inside posts on cd/dvd.
The whole unit is worth very little but broken down can net between $1-$2.50

There's a gold cap (plated) laser diode and dlp ceramic chip. Aluminium or magnesium 1 or more motors etc.

Looke for my workups in the what's inside it threads under the general discussion category to see what you'd be after and decide if it's worth your trouble

Average breakdown is between 10-15 minutes each drive.
Aka $8-$12/per hour.

Boardsort will buy the laser diode and dlp. The rest would go to a standard scrap yard.

You'll need Philips type #p0 and #p00 screw drivers. A standard #std0 or #std1 flat driver to wiggle the dlp loose without breaking the glass. A set of hd sheers to cut the drive array rails.
And a slide lock (like robo grip) pliers to gently remove the diode. Which may or may not come loose.
If it doesn't pull out gently try hitting it with a lighter flame in 10 second bursts. 10 on 10 off.
If it still doesn't come out give up. The arrays are often aluminium but can also be magnesium or lead. Lead poisoning is dangerous and magnesium poisoning while not much of a health issue is quite painful. Don't risk getting cut for a few cents gold. Mg issues goes away with stand treatment of keeping clean with alcohol after a few days. but you're gonna want to cut your hand off till then. :(
Lead clean cuts with COLD water and then cleanse with hydrogenPeroxide 80 solution.
