Is it better to trim the fingers off oF B?
The A part is blank on bottom

The led board is peripheral. Lots of gold pins to make up for, well, nothing else.

If you can’t tell I really strongly dislike hp servers/industrial computers. Not that they’re bad (they’re not) but that they’re over engineered.
This fan controller is a prime example. Most companies would put this inside a smart power supply. When things die instead of replacing a $70-$90 power supply a technician needs to spend hours testing dozens of $60 boards.

This is peripheral as is. My general suggest here is try to cleanly trim the huge fingers off. They’re worth more as fingers than on a peripheral board, which becomes midgrade
