I have just a few 3... looks like I could cut them between all the goodies & tape them together ( no photo )
is this ok

Generally; yes. For any board. As long as both sides are included in the same box, or better as you said taped together, AND no components are lost or damaged. I do this to make XT and 6K boards fit in smaller boxes.
