These two removed from early to mid eighties, TI calculators.
I was easily able to remove the LCD displays.
Peripheral? I only say because nothing of note on the backside of the PCBD?

There’s memorials two controllers, plus gold contacts. This one is difficult. Very difficult. I’m going to go with telco... believe the ICs thoroughly outweigh the board and the gold should help make the hop from peripheral.
