 Post subject: Please ID for me

These are laptop motherboards. Are they classified as large socket? Just want to be sure. How do I classify the CPUs? In pic #2 there is a piece of metal on the bottom, under the CPU. Should I try to force it off? The one on the other board came off easily. Should I remove anything else?
