These are hybrid inverter I.C chips but boardsort grades them as peripheral. There are other hybrid I.C chips that somewhat look similar such as the audio amplifier ic chips found in lower grade boards, usually have legs on one side only, same deal with those, boardsort buys them as peripheral.

Now why dont they get IC chip class?

That is something I can not answer for the buyer himself and it would be best to email Chris for such concerns if your curiosity goes further.

Ohh, rubble got bit by the PHP time bug. Glad I’m not the only one. Lol
Yes they go as peripheral.
They don’t go as ICs (integrated circuits) because the majority of the weight is not materially in the IC makeup.
