The top card has silver fingers, not gold. So what would it be classified as?

The bottom card while technically being a gold fingered card seems like it would be something higher because of all the IC chips. Is it possibly low-grade telecom?

The top card is an old goldstar Digital partner card. Converts serial signals to parallel. I think low telco would be in order here.

The lower card is a rebranded Weston graphics adapter. Produces nGA (probably out to VGA I cannot recall) and tri colour on the larger port. High telco.

If they were in the same system someone was doing some serious graphics work. Probably driving a colour laser printer or game design with RGB.
