Below are three different boards. Each of these have multiple socketed chips. For whatever grade, can the socketed chips be removed?

Thank You!

Peripheral: leave the white ones in and pull the rest... you’ll have enough to maintain the grade

Peripheral as is so don’t pull

Barely peripheral; don’t pull

I need to stop ripping off the copper bearing/motor weight if these are still being called peripheral. I always thought a board was automatically mid grade with those left on.

The last two are right at the edge of the grade. I believe they’ll clear it but I’m not positive. My grades are mine. I’m usually correct but not always

Lostinlowdos, Thank you. I was wondering about the bottom two. The boards have pretty good chips, but the transformers are rather quite heavy.
