Hi, what time of chips are the gold coloured ones in the middle?

Best to leave on or take off?

Thanks

They are gold cap chips. As is thats a gold cap chip board, if you pull those two chips it will down grade the board to high grade telco at a minimum. I would leave the chips and sell it as is.

The board would drop to low telco or peripheral depending on what damage is done in the removal. And the chips would go as sun CPUs most likely. It’s not beneficial to remove them.
