Those that have Gold fingers are double sided Gold fingers. Third photo is a couple of different Mac logic boards. There's nothing on the backside of any except last photo which shows front and back of same board. Thank you!

Oops! I loaded them reverse of what I intended! Therefore, first photo is front & back, second photo is a couple of Mac boards, etc.

Thanks for that!
Follow up, last photo, bottom row. Understood they are same category. However, is one higher quality than the other? In other words, does a empty AU plated socket trade on a 1:1 basis with IC's that are same size as socket?

I’m looking at more than that. So no. They can but not alone here.
What does help here is gold pin receptacles. Vs the silver pin ICs. As well as those are fairly basic AND low end ICs.

All four boards are dependent on the gold edge connectors (fingers) for peripheral
So start with the gold fingers.
Both brown boards at saved by silver tracing and whit I assume is a silver nickel solder. Without that they’d still be midgrade even with the fingers. (And I’d in that case suggest trimming the fingers).

3 depends on the thick plating of the HIF aka FIF dip sockets to jump to peripheral.

4 makes the jump by pure population.

Again cut any of the edge connectors off and they plummet to midgrade. That covered: which is more valuable, clean fingers and midgrade, or peripheral boards, I’m not sure. That’s up to you to figure out.
