First photo, far left, All IC's are socketed. What grade as is? What if IC's are removed from AU plated sockets?
Last photo what grade as is? If I remove the metal end bezel?

I didn't mention it but I would appreciate grading on the middle and far right boards in the first photo. Thanks!

Just wondering about this.....why can you leave the bracket on GF cards?
But on most if not all peripheral boards the brackets need to be removed if possible.

I THINK it’s because so many commercial level cards have riveted brackets. Coupled with the fact that standard brackets weigh less than an ounce or so. And the industry is standardised on internal cards with an external mounting. Fire each form factor. There’s very little deviation in weight. Even the massive ePCI and PCIx board’s brackets are under 1.5 ounces. So figuring the bracket into the value (as Chris has done) is straight forward.

Ultimately because Chris said so.

And just to note as I have pointed out server trays do not count as brackets. Trays with built in brackets are proprietary and only match that manufacturer. And often weigh more than a pound. But there’s too much variation to set an inclusive rate.
Trays need to be removed.

I really never thought about them being riveted and weight being minuscule. I just accepted as a given rule and never thought about it until now.

It’s just one of the few things in electronics that’s so in adoption that the aspects are known to a nearly perfect 100% like 99.999...% of them fall into a well known range.
Too thick it won’t fit in bookshelf and HTPC cases. Too thin it won’t hold steady in an ultra tower like mc Cosmos II.
Too little weight and powerful components and fans can cause vibration in a card. Regardless of where you mount it. Too heavy and it could cause gravity seepage. Eventually warping aluminium cases.
Too wide the nub won’t fit in a nib slot on a thin client case. Not wide enough it will fall out of an ITX case.

(Almost) Any card made after the AT and ITX form factors were standardised will have nearly identical brackets. AT dates to 1984 and the SISE form that became the ITX platform over a decade later dates to 1986. So anything after 87/88 is nearly a sure bet.
